The world’s leading creative technology institute announces a brand new London college for the study of video games programming, web design and 3D animation…

SAE is the world’s most prestigious creative technology college with around 50 institutes in more than 20 countries and a reputation second to none when it comes to the study of music production, multimedia design and film making. Following on from SAE’s award-winning Qantm Australia college, founded to provide an education in video games programming, creative design and 3D animation, SAE is launching Qantm UK this Autumn. This new London-based college combines SAE’s experience and Qantm Australia’s expertise to provide the ultimate education in video games programming, web design and 3D animation.

Qantm UK will offer Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor and Masters qualifications with the degree options underwritten by Middlesex University. Qantm UK has already established relationships with several important companies in the UK to make sure that the course content is both relevant, practical and hands-on, so those completing the Qantm UK courses can be safe in the knowledge that their experiences will hold them in good stead, no matter what areas of the industry they wish to specialise in.

Qantm strives to offer students as much insider knowledge of the industries they will be competing for careers in once successfully completing their courses. To this end there will be regular seminars given by industry gurus that are set to become must-see events for both students and industry professionals alike.

Nic Oliver from Qantm UK comments : “With such a vibrant games, web and multimedia industry, the UK was always going to be a prime choice to benefit from a Qantm educational facility. The new London college will meet the demands of a flourishing local industry keen to employ the best students for some of the most exciting careers.”

“The facility is equipped with the latest technology and a huge variety of hardware and software to help give a solid grounding to students in all common work practices in the industry. Experience from the Australian Qantm course shows that working closely with the industry yields great dividends in terms of relevant and practical course content and, consequently, higher employment opportunities. Qantm UK will follow this important and successful direction, providing very industry focused courses with the flexibility to allow specialization in specific areas of the industry.”

“With the games market exploding with next-generation activity and web designers in such high demand there’s never been a better time to consider a career in interactive entertainment and new media. And there’s never been a better educational opportunity than with a Qantm course to help you realise that dream!”
