Web Design - Standards Compliant

XHTML & CSS

Next Course Start: April 7th 2008
Duration: 12 weeks
Static websites are those on which data does not change too often, for example corporate service websites or long-standing product sites. This module details the creation of static websites with detailed techniques to create the best designs. As with Dynamic websites, static websites should be both accessible and usable to enhance the user’s visit, so the essential rules of both concepts plus those of human and computer interaction are taught.

Web Design - Entertainment

Flash & Actionscript

Next Course Start: July 7th 2008 (3 week break during period)
July 7th 2008
Duration: 12 weeks
The web is increasingly being used in high profile marketing campaigns with highly interactive websites sites used to sell films, TV series, and many day-to-day consumer products. Web Development – Dynamic Sites

Beginner PHP/MySQL

Next Course Start: April 7th 2008
Duration: 12 weeks
This modules concentrates on dynamic website design. These are websites on which data changes regularly, like news sites, blogs or shopping sites (with constantly updated prices and products). These constantly ebbing and flowing sites require special web programming or scripting, which is taught here in an approachable and concise way. Dynamic sites should be both accessible and highly usable to maintain high hit rates so techniques concentrating on both areas are included.

Web Development - Online Data Storage

Advanced PHP/MySQL

Next Course Start: April 7th 2008
